Here's a shot of the family taken from our recent (2006) summer vacation in West Hampton, NY. Although I look like I swallowed a bowling ball (geez, maybe it's time to back off the weights and kick up the cardio!!! Just be thankful I kept my shirt on!), I really enjoyed this extended period away with Pearl and the kids. In age order: Jack, Harry, Lizzie and Samantha. We were gone from the end of June until the beginning of August! And special thanks to Harry Lockwood, age 5, and his wonderful camera presence for knowing exactly when to stick out his tongue to ruin an otherwise great family photo! Can't imagine where he got his goofy personality from! Other PicsHere's a shot from our October 2006 "Guys trip" to Orlando. Wolverine looked like he put on a few since "X-Men 3!"
Here's another shot from this summer: the Lockwood family at breakfast. Look closely and you might see me lurking in the background, attempting in vain to do some work on my laptop despite the morning chaos. Also, you may notice the empty bottle in the foreground with trace amounts of maple syrup. I think we powered through those babies at a clip of one bottle per week. That's a LOT of sugary goodness! Mornings were not the best work environment - what the heck was I thinking? Here's a shot taken on "visiting day" for the camp we threw Jack, Harry and Lizzie in while in NY. Of course, it was a day camp so the idea of having a visiting day is a little silly! But hey, we all had fun!
Finally, not to leave her out, here's a pic. of Samantha, or Sammy, as she's known by her friends, family and acquaintances.
